Championing
Corporate Social Responsibility in Hertfordshire
is an exciting project led by Community Action Dacorum and involving
many partners (see below).
As
partners in the project, Volunteer Centres in Hertfordshire provide
information, support and guidance to businesses and local charities
on Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV).
Employer Supported Volunteering schemes are becoming very popular,
with many companies allowing time for staff to participate. Volunteering
can be a tool for personal development and it also improves morale and
motivation.
Team
challenges not only offer a fun and cost effective alternative to some
other team building options, they also benefit the community in which
the business operates. Just think of the PR opportunities! It's a real
win:win situation. Whilst
often associated with large businesses, Team Challenges can be just
as appropriate for smaller ones.
Volunteer Centres provide a great source of information for individual
and team volunteering,
