Employer Supported Volunteering - is your organisation taking advantage of the opportunities?

Employer Supported Volunteering schemes are becoming very popular, with many companies allowing time for staff to participate. Businesses are very keen on one day team challenges, so if your organisation has premises or gardens in need of make-over, why not register this as a one-off opportunity with your local Volunteer Centre? .

Examples – practical DIY, garden makeover, decorating premises, mural painting, constructing a garden accessible for people in wheelchairs, fundraising events, organising an outing for group of disadvantaged people. Imaginative ideas always go down well!
